Calcium hydroxide, also called as slaked lime, caustic lime and hydrated lime, is an inorganic compound that comes in the form of white powder or solid. Calcium oxide and water are mixed to make calcium hydroxide. When sodium hydroxide and calcium chloride in water reacts, the process results in this chemical compound.
